Some of you might think I'm not totally in my right mind, but still, I'm not giving up on the blog thing just yet. I just wrote one, with 0 feedback so I guess my blog is still to be discovered.
Meanwhile, I'm finding out if this blog thing is something I wanna do. Anyway....
This Tuesday I'm going to chase after a dream I've had since I had to quit horseback riding. The dream was, of course, to hop on a horse again. Tuesday I'm going to visit a horse and his owners in Kampen. The horse is a true Arabian horse which means these horses have some real character. I'm so excited!
Shadai she's called, the Arabian horse. :)
I didn't tell the owner in my email that it has been over 10 years since I've last sat on a horse though, but I think horseback riding is like riding a bicycle: you will never forget how to do it.
So Tuesday night will be an interesting night!
And God, I still have to manage to get all horseback riding stuff I need like special trousers, a cap and some steady shoes.....
I'm really, really excited about this and I truly hope I will be the one to take care of Shadai. And, if all goes super well, I think I'll sign Shadai and me up for a jump competition, since I'm better at jumping then dressage. And I think it's also much more fun, especially in the woods, with branches hanging low or trees that have broken down.
Yeah, I'm super siked about this, so let's just hope I'll be the chosen one to take care of Shadai. :)
We'll see.......
Meanwhile, I keep daydreaming of Shadai and me at the beach riding towards the sunset (romantic, isn't it?)..........
