Inner child daydream coming true?

Hi all,

Some of you might think I'm not totally in my right mind, but still, I'm not giving up on the blog thing just yet. I just wrote one, with 0 feedback so I guess my blog is still to be discovered.
Meanwhile, I'm finding out if this blog thing is something I wanna do. Anyway....

This Tuesday I'm going to chase after a dream I've had since I had to quit horseback riding. The dream was, of course, to hop on a horse again. Tuesday I'm going to visit a horse and his owners in Kampen. The horse is a true Arabian horse which means these horses have some real character. I'm so excited!
Shadai she's called, the Arabian horse. :)

I didn't tell the owner in my email that it has been over 10 years since I've last sat on a horse though, but I think horseback riding is like riding a bicycle: you will never forget how to do it.
So Tuesday night will be an interesting night!
And God, I still have to manage to get all horseback riding stuff I need like special trousers, a cap and some steady shoes.....

I'm really, really excited about this and I truly hope I will be the one to take care of Shadai. And, if all goes super well, I think I'll sign Shadai and me up for a jump competition, since I'm better at jumping then dressage. And I think it's also much more fun, especially in the woods, with branches hanging low or trees that have broken down.
Yeah, I'm super siked about this, so let's just hope I'll be the chosen one to take care of Shadai. :)
We'll see.......

Meanwhile, I keep daydreaming of Shadai and me at the beach riding towards the sunset (romantic, isn't it?)..........

Opportunities & Chances

Hi Everyone,

This is my very first blog and I'm curious myself how and IF this is going to work out. That means: wheter you like it or not! So don't be shy and give me some feedback on this big Imke show ok?
I decided to start a blog to share my thoughts on basically everything! I want you to be able to see the world through my eyes.
So here we go!

A month ago, I got fired from my internship (apparently I was too rock&roll for them to handle) ;) of my media & entertainment studies. Bummer! YES!
But new things came to the horizon, new chances and BETTER opportunities. (READ: Way better opportunities).

So what's up?
I'm going to do my internship @ Ronald A. Westerhuis!!!
He's an amazing artist who works with stainless steel.
First project is a big event which we organize ourselves!
More details? Yeah you would like that, wouldn't you?

Unfortunately, we are in the very first stages of this big event, so I can't give any details on that.
But you WILL find out, I promise. If it won't be upfront, it WILL come to you afterwards, I promise! ;)
So be patient with me.

As for other things: my band Metatron is rocking the hell out of everyone and we are going to release our first EP in February! We are very excited about this and would like to thank Dave Schinkel and Djuri Boot for doing such an amazing job!! YOU ROCK!!
The exact date is yet to be determined, but it will come out soon!! I'll keep you posted on that.
